This club is being formed to fill a void in the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan area which per Wikipedia list the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan area as having a land mass size of over 14565.76 Sq miles. Because of such a large area of coverage many of the existing GPAA members must drive a round trip of over sixty miles or better just to attend the closest GPAA Chapter, currently it is the GPAA Phoenix chapter.

Alabama Gold Prospecting Club 5811 0

It's that time again, 3rd Saturday of the month. This means more Gold Fever Treatments at Alabama Gold Camp with the Alabama Alabama Gold Prospecting-Club. 9:00 AM at the pavilion for the miners meeting. No mining equipment, no problem, come anyway and help work on the equipment with the ones who do have stuff. We split all the gold at the end so we all can have the treatment. Free to join the club, and only $5.00 for the gold camp to prospect all day.

I'm with the Mid-Valley Prospectors Brownsville Oregon GPAA Chapter and would like to say thank you to the Portland Gold Prospectors, Portland Oregon GPAA Chapter and the Southwest Washington Gold Prospectors, Vancouver GPAA Chapter for coming down with help and the people to put on a great show. They are about 100 Mi. from Albany Or. We will be going up to Portland GPAA gold show. it is great for the chapters to work with each other.

New to the group and looking for a local chapter. 19433 4

We live here in Wetumpka,Al. Smack dab in the crater. Over the past 2 years we have been panning and sluicing in a few different spots in our area. Letting the kids play and join in when they want to help. Soaking up the great out doors and enjoying what mother nature has gave us. As new members of the GPAA, we were hoping to find a local chapter to join. With a little research I've not found any in our area. How would we go about finding members in our local area and maybe forming our own chapt...

I want to thank the Southwest Washington Chapter out of Vancouver for inviting our chapter (Mid Valley Prospectors, Brownsville, OR) to their picnic that was held on July 19th. Our president, his wife, and I made the trip up. We met an exceptional group of folks and were greeted and treated with open arms. My brothers and myself year after year look forward to he annual gold show. This year I hate to say we were highly disappointed. The ad for the show said there were to be seminars. We planned on staying the whole day to see the show and then sit in on all the seminars. There weren't any seminars! We stayed a little while looking at the products and then went home. Basically, we paid for parking and an entrance fee to have the right to buy products. I hope this doesn't happen next year.
