    Hello fellow prospectors,

    Just starting out as greenhorn,

    I am looking at finding some panning places in Georgia, remote on small creek w/camping.any suggestions?

    If you have Facebook try to connect with the state director Brad Dover. he can point you in the right direction. another way is to look up and see if there are any local or semi-local chapters and contact them. good luck and maybe one day I will see you out there in the dirt.

    I just returned from Loud Mine and the pay and dig site of Gold and Gem Grubbin near Cleveland GA. A high banker like a Keene or Gold Hog is suggested due to the high clay content. Stream is full of gems for panning or small dredge. A good place to practice with minimal camping.
