First Trip to California *Any good advice*

Headed out to South Cali in march. First time past Colorado and its a long Haul from Clinton MO. Taking my Wife a daughter and going to try to find some gold. Looking at Warrior Claim Maybe. Has anyone ever found anything there. Just want to find a little bit for fun and spend some time with the Family. If any ones knows any place we might find A little gold and that can be accessed with a mini Van I would sure Appreciate any Advice on a good location. Just don't have a couple days and don't want to wast time at a dry claim. Not greedy just want a little bit :-) Maybe try some working cracks with a dry Vac and Chisel and bringing my Metal Detector. Any other Ideas? Have only found about 4 Grams of gold so far at Leadville Colorado and had the time of our lives. Cache Creek claim in Colorada was fun but going the extra mile to find a little Cali Gold. Thanks for the Advise and God Bless

Randy, There are multiple local GPAA Local chapters in Southern California. Contact info here online under chapters, or listed in the PNS or GPM. Many great active clubs here. There's always an outing our group of people going out playing in the dirt.
