The Lost Dutchman’s Mining Association
is looking to purchase property and we need your help! Not to long ago Tom Massie
purchased the Gold Prospectors Association of America and the Lost Dutchman’s Mining
Association with the intention of continuing on with George “Buzzard” Massie’s dream.
George was dedicated to preserving and protecting the 1872 mining laws and keeping
properties open for recreational prospectors. He formed the Lost Dutchman’s Mining
association to unite members with the intention of purchasing and maintaining properties
for its members use and enjoyment.
Following the purchase, it had always been Tom’s and my intention to limit unnecessary
expenses, pursue and acquire new members who shared the desire to prospect, and
secure a sustainable future for the organization. In the one year that I have been
directly overseeing the expenses with LDMA, and working very closely with Ken Rucker
(General Manager) and Sharina Davis (LDMA Administrator), our team has worked long
hours and extra days to put LDMA in a position to purchase new properties for our
members. This is a very exciting time for everyone involved in the LDMA, and we
are asking for your help to find just the right property. Please take some time
to fill out our information fields, be as specific as possible and let us know what
kind of property it is, what the asking prices are, and what benefits this particular
property might have for our members.
Finally I would like to take an opportunity to thank all of our great members, chapters,
vendors, and supporters for all the hard work and dedication. Without you this would
not be possible.
Thank you,
Brandon Johnson
