Didn't prospect on first visit. Just purchased a sluice from their store, and drove around the camp to check it out. Very nice setup. Just bring cash if you intend to purchase anything or pay to play. They only take cash or check, and it's 10 miles to the nearest ATM.

I have visited AGC several times over last couple years. We just rent a cabin on the property. But they have rv campsites. And can tent camp along the creek. The property is well maintained. Easy access to the creeks.
The folks running it is real nice and helpful.
There is two groups of gpaa that visit there on different weekends.
I have to say I have yet to meet anyone who would not help or give advice if asked.

As far as gold it mostly fine gold every now and then a rare picker.
Your courtesy piles are easy digging for ones with highbankers.
They have pay highbankers with pay piles where the gold is a lot better than courtesy.
As far as creek digging there is several spots that has nice gold. But also has spots where you fill your box with garnets to.
Dredges are allowed not sure up to what size.

Overall if your looking for a get away I would suggest AGC. If looking to get rich don't think it will happen there.
If have away to bust clay think you will do a lot better than just washing rocks, A lot of clay in piles you can get into.

Ive been working since started to find that solution. ill take tips on that one.
