I have only been prospecting for the last two years and I'm still a greenhorn. I would like to meet up with fellow prospectors/rock hounds to enhance my knowledge, learn better techniques and explore the east coast (mostly my area of New York - Putnam County). I only have limited weekends to enjoy life with peace of mind in this wonderful fashion.

Any help, tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.
