I am starting this thread hoping we all can get ideas from others on where we Relic Hunters can try and hunt based on where other hunt. Since I started it, I will go first... (God I hope this doesn't get crickets LOL) I live and hunt in the desert. Specifically, the high desert of SW Utah. There are no major known Gold producing areas near here, so what we mostly hunt for Relics in the desert around here. I don't have years at it and certainly don't consider myself an expert at it... 2 Replies and 11589 Views Old button  11589  2 Started by  RANDALL BONDS To anyone that can see this I can not identify this button that I found on the ground and maybe someone knows who made it and if it is worth anything .The letters on the button say something like this: sanlonigu or sanfoniga. The button is very brown and seems to be made of a metal that rust very easily. It is a very cool button.

It appearance was a blob of rust. Almost filled it back over. What saved it was that the broken edge stood out. Well the 10' down in that area translated to a 200 year burial.
