I am new to the fun and am looking to purchase a used Highbanker, Power Sluice, Sluice/Dredge combo. I am new to this and would like to try out a few things used before throwing down big money on new equipment. I live in the San Fernando Valley, CA so a place or person local would be great.

My nephew is looking for an inexpensive 2' gold dredge and/or 2' Highbanker/Dredge combo unit to clean out his bosses pond of excessive silt/mud buildup to start with, then use for prospecting and mining when he is not working in the woods.
Preferably one near Yreka, Siskiyou County, California (Klamath Mountain region), that he can inspect and pick up personally.

This dredge is a 2 engine 5 inch gold getting machine, I have improved the machine over what Keen sells. It has rock bars on the riffles to move the rocks over them so the gold falls behind the riffles better. I came across an old Idaho Map with some prospecting stuff I bought, it is large about 44'x64' legend shows steam & electric railroad tracks separate, not many roads,many towns in middle of nowhere that are probably not there anymore.Would be great for research or just to hang on the wall, very interesting. I have a Whites Goldmaster II that I'd like to sell. Bought at a gold show about 1998. I have used it a few times but work travels the last 15 years interfered with my prospecting. Now that I'm retired, older, and don't have much hearing left - I need to upgrade to a newer unit with displayed info.
