After working with one of the new Gold Hog Multi Sluices at Loud mine for a few days I was terribly impressed. AS I watched the old timers

play with it and be impressed the sale was completed. I order my new Multi Sluice today and have about 12 gallons of 1/8 classified material from Georgia and North Carolina to work through it right away.

Now my question is , it does not come with a bilge pump and the one Gold hog offers they say is not really the best model on the market. Anyone have a brand recommendation for me?

Hey Tim, I'd also post this on the Gold Hog forum, you might get an answer sooner, and probably from Doc.

So I got my Multi Sluice. I am still impressed. Using the Attwood Tsunami 1200 gph pump I have had 2 years. I ran 2 buckets with both mats in 2 hours playing with it and ended up with 1 1/2 cups of cons to pan. Since what I ran was supposed to my "tailing" I am not that disappointed in not finding a lot of gold. Now I have 3 buckets of material that I have only classified to run , this should be good wit gold as the 3other buckets I cleaned up with my recirc sluice and pans ( It took about 40 hours of work over 3 weeks.) had good gold in them.

I think the trip would cost more than the finds, but glad to hear you have a nice setup.

OK, so I have played with my Multi Sluice for a little more than a month and am even more impressed. I had my wife on it who has not been prospecting in 2 years and feeds fast, not loss. I have had it up to 17 degrees angle on the clean up mat and again no loss. I even let it "cement up" for 2 days when I got busy and had no loss when I turned it back on. If room is an issue when you load your gear, I would say get a Multi Sluice instead of the Gold Cube. It does run fast, I run 5 gallon buckets in 20 minutes, about double the time of Doc at Gold Hog and I have not found any gold in my tailings. Nothing like taking that pan at the end and doing the "money" swirl and seeing all the gold pop out. The Multi Sluice takes you right down to black sands and gold.

I have really struggled with deciding bewteen the muti sluice and the gold cube, after long research and taking serious consideration I have to say the multi sluice has won me over, and will be ordering it soon.

    Brad,

A suggestion, try to hit a gold show if able, get a side by side demonstration.
Let those that sell them tell you about their product, tell em your on the fence as to which way to go

Just my opinion, if a sales person bad mouths the other product, C-Ya

I have had the Multi-Sluice now for almost 2 months. I love this thing it works just as Doc describes.Since I dont see any drywashing happening any time soon this will do the job perfectly.

Got mine in June 2015, and still love it. I use it for all types of work. Clean up, prospecting, running a few buckets of fresh pay dirt.

I have both, the Gold Cube and The Multi Sluice. Since i got my Multi Sluice, I have not even gotten my Gold Cube out. Both are great pieces of equipment, I just prefer the Multi Sluice.
