Outing to Buchanan, GA this weekend?

    Just checking to see if there is a planned outing to Buchanan this weekend

    Hey Brad, My name is Paul, I'm the outings coordinator for the Buchanan Chapter. Our normal monthly meetings are the 2nd sat of the month from March thru November.

    This month we switched the date and the venue of the meeting, we're going to the Ala Gold Camp on July 25 and 26th for our monthly meeting and a common dig with an equal gold split.

    Great Paul!

    I will likely head that way and join you guys for the day on Saturday.

    I have a Keene 2.5 HighBanker Suction Dredge combo (set up for highbanking, I am saving for the float kit) w/2.5 honda/keene pump. Also can bring a Super V stream sluice (8" X 48") from Colorado Gold Sticks, and a Fisher CZ70Pro Metal Detector (have not really used it since I bought in 2006 or so) plus pans, classifiers, mixing tubs, etc...

    We (Augusta Chapter) have a meeting this Thursday.

    Hey Brad, That's great, looking forward to meeting you. I'll go ahead and add your name to the list on our website.

    I am going over a couple of days early, but most folks plan to meet up there at the camp at 8:00 central time Sat morn.

     

    Check in on the SGMA website forum for any changes or new details.


    As far as the chapter member listing, you have to contact the main office to handle that.

    Hey Brad,

     

    If you click the "Request Membership" button on the chapter page it should put you on the pending list where Paul can add you in and it should go automatically. Let us know if you have both already done this and we will look into fixing it on our end.
