How do we find where it is/is not ok to pan for gold? I do not wish to get in trouble, or have to ask constantly. Is there a master map somewhere?

Hey Dusty, Here's the link to the GPAA chapter in OK. unfortunately there is only 1 chapter there, it is in OKC.

I think local chapters are the best place for new members to learn about their state and where you can prospect, the folks are always friendly and eager to help those new to prospecting. hope this helps.

roll over the community tab at the top of the page, look under community and chapters and click on full chapter directory, then scroll down the list till you see the chapter name, click on it and their webpage will open.

Try Kriver Campground on the Kiamichi river north of Antlers, OK. A google search will yield info.
