    Looking for prospecting buddy central to northern ca, I love to drive have good 4x4, will to go within 5 hours of manteca on any weekend. Like to sluice and pan.

    Looking for someone to go panning or sluicing with mid week or weekends.

    I live about 2.5 hrs from you near Oroville up in the foothills. I mainly go to the claims in Plumas nat forest.

    If you want to hook up sometime with or without the family shoot me an email.

    There are lot's of good camp sites close to claims

    Hi. Are you still looking for someone to head out with? I'm in Hayward. I pretty much love to explore driving, have a 4x4, just bought a Keene mini max and yes,I am very new to the game. Winter weather will limit options but thought I'd see if you still had any interest. I'm finding it hard to get any of my friends interested and until I bring home something my wife isn't all that interested.

    A bit south of you in Merced and work the Yosemite area claims in the winter when we escape the snow in the midwest. Dec to Apr in Merced. MD and panning equipment.

    Hello. I know this is an old thread but I'm new and from the central coast so wanted to say hi. I try to get out panning every weekend or so. Might go out to San Luis Obispo this weekend if the smoke isn't too bad. I also drive over to the Auburn area pretty often to see my brother and go panning with him. I live in Salinas so I'm a bit far from most of the claims but I still do prospecting around here. No gold. Just garnets and nice clear quartz crystals. I'll keep trying though.
