    Hello Walt, Welcome to the GPAA family. I'm Paul Straub, I am the 2016, President of the NW GA Chapter of the GPAA, Buchanan, GA.
    We would love to have you come to one of our chapter meetings next year. Our meetings take place on the 2nd Sat of the month, from March to Nov. Folks get together in the morning for prospecting and shooting the breeze, then we have a potluck dinner at 4 followed by the chapter meeting, then a fund raising raffle.

    Welcome to the family! There is also a chapter of GPAA in Augusta that meets the 2nd Thursday of each month from March-December.

    Welcome to the GPAA Family! As you can see we have great members that welcome you in and are there for help and answering questions. Go to as many chapters and meetings you can to learn more and get out and play in the dirt.

    Hello Walt,

    I'm new to this organization as well and am looking forward to learning more about prospecting in North Georgia.  I live in Gwinnett county and have some acreage in Gilmer county.  I haven't found much gold yet, but have enjoyed the process. 

    I have definitely been bitten by the bug!
