Well 2015 is now history and it is time to put a new bucket list together or should I say start a 2016 log book on 5 gallon buckets that are ran.

The stats for 2015 are, ran 567 five gallon buckets with friend Brian, 390 buckets with friend Pat, and 84 buckets by myself, for a grand total of 1,041 buckets dug and screened in 35 days.

Yes 2015 was a fun and colorful year, hope everyone got their share of color also and you all get out there and have a great 2016.       Ron

    Damn, that's allot o buckets.

    Define "5 gallon bucket"

    I use 2 1/2 gallon bucket, filled 1/2 - 3/4
My partners call them billy buckets.
It allows my day to be longer and less painful (and grouchy) at the end of the day.

Bill, I use the 5 gallon paint buckets filled between 1 to 2 inches from the top, they are full. It takes 2 of us right at 4 hours to dig and screen 36 buckets and that includes taking breaks, I am 60  so I don't work to hard just smart.

I build big screens that fit just right into a # 3 metal wash tub and this set up is many times faster than using those 5 gallon bucket screens. About 3 times faster would be my guess.       Ron

    Ron,

Do you have any pictures of the screens you build? I would like to copy your idea...or buy one from you if shipping can be arranged.

    Thanks!
