Not really a Greenhorn, been MD'ing since 1984 when I bought my first MD a Fisher. But now new to Middle Georgia and wondering if there are any clubs in the area? I live in the Warner Robins area and I did start a Middle Georgia Metal Detecting Group on meetup.com just to see if there was any interest and 7 people have signed up so far. Anyway I'd be happy to participate in any GPAA activities. Don

Donald the Northwest Georgia Chapter of the GPAA meets at the Buchanan Farm GPAA lease the second Saturday of each month from March to October with several outings to other areas a year. There is also a Chapter in Augusta GA.

I have never been to the Augusta claim, any links or sites to see some photos or information?

We do not have a claim, per se, but, we do have a lease

The lease is managed by our Chapter President, Charles Lott. Do a quick search on here and he can get you more details. The cost per person is minimal per quarter.

Brad, I was not aware you all had a lease. Can you sluice there and can a nonmember of your chapter visit with a member?
