    If anyone would like to help me with this goal it would be much appreciated. Here in michigan we do not have many areas avail. for prospecting that are open to the public, and state lands have too many regulations and rules to allow you to be free in your prospecting. However....... on private land anything goes. So......if there are any of you on here who would like to donate to this awesome cause, please help. I have really big plans for this project, Any  michigan schools will be able to use the area for free for any educational uses, All Veterans will have free access to the site as well ( yes i am an Air Force veteran). I have several areas that i have picked out for land to purchase.We have alot of minerals here in michigan as well as the rock hounds to go with them...lol.     Hello everyone!!, our names are Amber and Jonathan!
    Amber: 
    occupations:Customer service mgr.
    Hobbies: stained glass and rock & gem hound

    Jonathan:
    occupation: sales/ gem prospector
    Hobbies: gem prospecting, metal detecting


    My campaign is to raise enough money to buy a local piece of property for rockhounds, prospectors, metal detectorists, and geologists for the use of Educational study, hobbies, and for those who want to use and test their prospecting equipment. I am a member of a couple geology clubs and i am a metal detector enthusiast, my fiance is the rock hound!! This will be a nonprofit area to use, fees charged will be for maintenance of the property. The reason for this campaign is to provide and area for local enthusiasts, there are many areas in the country including  west, southwest, and southeast that have areas for prospecting and gem hunting open to the public or access by club memeberships. We  want to provide an area here in michigan for all who would want to come and enjoy without having to travel thousands of miles. I would be extremely gratefull to all those who contribute to this, and a sign or plaque will be put up to thank all that gave money to this. Thank you for your generosity. We are looking to get this up and running by summer of 2017.

    P.S. all respect will be given to the enviroment, there will be no large machinary or major earth moving done. This will be a pick n shovel , sluiceing, highbanking,highbank dredge combo,  panning, screening for gems, and metal detecting.
