    I will be going to the gold expedition next week and want to know if they rent fishing poles, or if I need to bring my own? If I need to bring my own, what is the best way to travel with it? It doesnt fit in my luggage. Thank you!

    I am not sure about the outing your going on but the best way to travel with a fishing rod is to remove the reel and place the rod in a PVC pipe tube you can make for a few bucks and a trip to Lowes.

         Look into a telescopic fishing pole. The one I have fits just fine in my backpack and works great. It would also fit in a suitcase with room to spare.   Ron
