    We just moved to Georgia from Northwest Ohio and I am so disappointed that there are no GPAA claims close to me. Does anyone have any suggestions, I am having severe withdrawls and need a place to relax, play in the water and find some gold. I currently live near Brunswick, Georgia.

    Check out the NW Georgia GPAA Chapter, Paul Straub is the Chapter President. OR There is also an Augusta, GA GPAA Chapter, of which I am member. We meet the second Thursday of each month.
    Charles Lott is the Chapter President.

    Our chapter is supporting the Augusta Outdoor Expo on Saturday at the James Brown Arena. Dozer Dave Turin will be in attendance from Discovery Channel's Gold Rush.

    You did not mention what part of Ga. Just outside Cleveland is a place called Gold and Gems. It is a pay to play mine but there is gold there, and gems. I dredged 9.8 grams from the creek last May over a week and half and brought home a 5 gal bucket nearly full of gems
