OK, New guy here, but it seems that there must be online GPAA claims listings somewhere and I am not finding that link on the website.  So, as a new guy, I think I can ask that question, where are the current GPAA claims listings online? If there are none online, where does the new guy go for the most updated GPAA claim listings?  Thank You in advance.

    Gregory,

    Welcome to the club.

GPAA was/is working on getting claims online, no idea when.

Until then you can see updated claim info as it relates to withdrawn, closed and new claims since the last MG printing which was 2014, they are reproduced plus or minus every 3 years within this website under 'Pick and Shovel'

Past that, you will have to wait until your membership package arrives.

Don't worry, the gold aint goin nowhere.

All the Pick and Shovel issues since the last guide are on the website under the Learn tab above. Should be publishing a new guide next year sometime. They don't put the updaes in the magazine anymore, only in the Pick and Shovel.   Like William said, no online listing of claims.   Bear in mind you need to have the cards and guide with you when on a claim, at least in the vehicle.

Some of the chapters keep a binder of the updates of the claims in their area, and the members are a wealth on info and help. If there is a chapter near you, contact them.

Maybe the GPAA needs to make a header post at the top of the forum regarding this question that I also asked as does every new member LOL... In this digital age, I think it's shocking to us new members that current claims info isn't available online... Even more shocking that so many old members "seemingly" feel that it's not a major issue.

Anyways... The best advice I have gotten was to contact the local chapters of the areas you have interest in... Assuming that the Chaptes info in the Guide are still valid... This seems to be the best method... I will have to try it and see what happens.

That's funny. Squashing bugs is always fun. Welcome Gregory & Sam. I just keep the Pick & Shovel updates from my area. I cut them out and add them to the guide book, kinda like book marks for that area.

I do love the Guide... I love the Tangability of having special secret like information that others do not. It gives me a sense of membership pride belonging to an organization that gives me a one up over other prospectors who don't belong to the GPAA... But it would feel even better knowing I had easy and fast access to the most current information available. In this way, I could squash bugs and stay current and informed. I would bet that if you polled the 30,000 members that having a current digital catalog with all of the details on all of our available active claims would probably be the #1 item that they would want to have that the GPAA currently doesn't offer. We could actually make it interactive offering current and 10 day weather forecasts, calendar events and notices, member reviews and reports... I MEAN COME ON!!! This could be awesome and would really set the GPAA apart even further and launch it into the 21st century!
