That's awesome, we need a good radio show. I wish everybody (33,000 members) here would actually listen & do something to act & save the 1872 Mining Act before it's too late. Some California Gold panners are now being threatened with arrests for Gold panning in a 'Natl. Monument' or a 'Wilderness area' or your own claim because the FS & BLM thugs want you out of 'their' forest. (Sugar Pine Min Or.)
The problem with Gold miners is some of them don't bother to get involved, they hide their locations (understandable), they always say they can't find any Gold (but they have plenty) and they try to avoid the USFS & BLM (harassment, EPA regs. etc.) for obvious reasons...So if they don't unite and do something, the forests will be closed, mineral entries will be withdrawn, and they'll be cited for Dredging in Ca., Highbanking in Or., Sluicing in Az. (Look up Lynx Creek rules, no sluice boxes) and on and on.
Thanks for having a Prospectors Radio Show, & thanks for trying to wake up 33,000 snoring old timers who can't seem to unite and actually do something to save their own 1872 Mining Act before environmental extremists flush it down the toilet.
