    Hello everyone,
I am interested in what brands of pumps, including gas motor manufacturer s people are using. Particularly, are the Chinese built engines, namely Kiran, good engines that you can get parts for?

Thanks in advance for your input.

Check spelling on Kiran. That's Lifan. My tablet thinks it knows how to spell better than me.

Hey Wayne, i use a 2 in harbor freight pump, The brand is hydro star, works good for me, runs my highbanker just fine just above idle , I can run it for about 4 days on one tank of gas.

Well, like anyone else, I think I'm going to change my mind on the pump at this time.

Seems to me, a small generator running my electric pumps that I have would be a more versatile piece of equipment than a gasoline pump.  I can pick up a 1200 watt generator at the local building supply for $200.  That will run my pumps, charge my phone, and power lights if needed.

Thanks Brent for your info previously.

Just thought I would pass this on.  For those into electric pumps, I saw online a mention of using a Toyota Prius electric 12V water pump.  Could be a good possibility, depending on a used price from the local salvage yard.  That's 2004 to 2009 model years I believe.

Not sure about amperage draw or GPH output, but it must be a fairly decent output.

I just got a 2.4 hp 1 1/2 inch pump to use on my highbanker. I have a Matin m46 es sluice with a Keene hopper box on it. I was wondering what size hose do I need .

Doing research on putting together a Gold hog and was wondering if anyone has experience with this pump running the piglet or any other H-Banker.
I have 2 of the predator 2000 watt invertors that we use off grid with good success.
At first glance I thought 158 gpm wouldn't be enough flow, then I did the math! 9480 gph should move enough water?

    Thx for any input.
