    I just joined the GPAA and I'm in the process to learn this web sight and all of the great tools of information and so much more, that said, I'm just a greenhorn.

    I was wondering if anyone could answer a question for me. Would like to know if any local Los Angeles, Kern County or So Cal group outings get put together on this Form. Would like to find out or how too join a group of fellow gold prospectors.

      Hi Erick, Welcome. Try the Temecula Valley Prospectors, they hang out at Big Bear Mtn. Ca. They have a claim up there that 'was' a GPAA claim. And try the East Fork Prospectors in the San Gabriel Mountains, North of Pomona. In the San Diego area, the South Western Miners Assoc. have claims in those mountains. Good luck.

    Erick,  Check out gpaa.net.  They are located in Southern CA and are a chapter of the GPAA.  They usually have monthly outings weather permitting.  I will be going on my first prospecting outing a week from this Friday to an area near Randsburg CA.  Also check out Prospectors Club of Southern CA.
