Why is it so damn hard to find a schedule for the outings at LDMA camps????????? Even internet search brings up NOTHING.

Why have an outings page, or events page if the damn thing never gets posted. With all the GPAA and LDMA staff, things like this should get posted. NO EXCUSE.

Even on the LDMA facebook page, no mention of the outing. Nothing in the LDMA page on here. Really getting fed up.

    https://www.facebook.com/pg/LDMACAMPS/events/?ref=page_internal

This is a link to the LDMA events page on Facebook. It lists all the Outings that are currently scheduled for 2017. The events titled "Official" are the big ones

    Hope this helps.

As an organization we should not support nor use Facebook. They send millions of dollars to environmental groups that directly impact the mining industry in a negative way. The more we use Facebook the more money they have to stop us from mining. My wife is on Facebook, but I refuse to support their liberal causes.

Ha ha, even the loud mine facebook page does not list it. Just their regular weekend outings. How do you expect to get people to the outings when the camps page dont even list it. Heres what they replied:
Michael Judd · 8:57 What about the GPAA outing coming up. Seems that would be an important thing to mention

Got to agree with you all here. The event tab should have the outings up. All the outings. And as early as they can so peopke can request time off.

No doubt they need to keep us all more informed. Through the official web site. I also don't use Facebook but I do check the LDMA web page. I have also asked they we have a short LDMA meeting at every gold show to keep everyone informed of what's going on within the LDMA. It alm seems to fall on deaf ears.

A event calendar would be nice, as I don't use Facebook. I think the staff means well but the focus seems to be on new members. My local chapter spends 90% of their time at cabelas and various places recruiting new members (revenue) not sure what's in it for the chapter, as I have not had a chance due to family health issue to attend. It was either blue bucket or burnt river I had a issue with too. After the airing of Tom And his daughter Kia finding cornflake size nuggets they all of a sudden shut down for maintenance lol. I believe the reason that Facebook has all the info and not this site is because they are reaching for family and friends for more members, and this site will not generate more $ Also this site has shirts for sale, but no pics. I'm for hire if they need help. I have ordered in the past and they had pics. The site obviously doesn't get maintainance, as there is no member dues to be had. Hmm

Also my last post was at 12:43. It's now 12:44 look at the posting time for the post. It will likely say 8:45? The sites messed up bad.

The thing with this site is about what some will put into it as I am on here because I do not do the facebook thing .Yes we can force them to see us .Just have to let them know .Do you do emails .That is a way.Let the brass know how you feel.

    Howdy Boys!

    Y'all sure complain a lot!

    I feel right at home.
Imagine wanting for what you paid.

    I don't do Facebook.

    But, maybe we should.

I assume they wouldn't want to expose their negligent website because of a number of disgruntled Facebook comments.

Maybe someone other than Brandon would read it eventually deciding to consider our attention.

We're the old timers - 50 and older.
And I assume, the majority membership.

    BUT, that's nothin'.
I joined GPAA two days ago.
Got an invoice email for my membership payment.
I had a question, I clicked on the highlighted "contact" email address, info@propsectors.org,
sent it hesitantly, and quickly received an email as undeliverable.
    I knew "PROPSECTORS.ORG" couldn't be right.
    It's - "PROSPECTORS.ORG"

My first, contact attempt to their first email to me. AND THE EMAIL ADDRESS IS WRONG!
Hmmmmm, then I read this post.
    Dagnabbit!!
I want to know the event dates so as to be sure and not show up then.

On another note, how long from joining until I should see my 2 year member package?

I'm an Instagram fan, but gettin' tarred of it.
So I figured I'd start hangin' out over here and bother you no goods.

    Home at last,
    Clark

Try the events tab above everyone. I would love to have the first quarter events posted in October, second quarter December and the rest of the year ny March personally. My opinion only.

Sitting sort of half way now. I want to encourage everyone caretakers, chapter officers, members to keep Greg Miller up to date on upcoming events, outings and public service events. If you are not able to do that, let your State Director Know and they can pass it on.
again, outings as early as you can so people can arrange time off to attend.
