i have a set of Whites standards, Fisher, and a new set of Technitics. Have run them on my MXT and MX-5. Fishers are going to get tossed (lost one of the ear cups, and Fisher can't supply replacements, have to buy the full headset again). The Whites work OK, but have been inpressed with the Tech's on the MX-5. Very good tone differences, comfortable for me. Individual volume controls on each side, can run in stereo or mono. I picked mine up at Cabella's for around $40.00. Also come with the adapter from 1/4" to the smaller plug so you can use them on other stuff like stereos and computers. Cord is a little short for some but works for me on both detectors. I think I'll be a happy camper with them.
