Hello everyone,

I am the new Florida State Director. I am looking for Volunteers for assistant directors, with hope one will take over in 2019 as Director.

I am also looking to form 3 new chapters this year. Currently I am thinking they will be based out of Crestview/Defubiak Springs, Tallahassee, and. Jacksonville. Though that is up to the members. We have no claims in Florida, but there actually was a working Mine here once. We also have beaches known for the treasures people find with metal detectors. The GPAA is currently working hard to add more options here in the southeast. We as a state can help that along.

It is also a personal passion of mine to reach out to our military personnel. Gold prospecting can be an inexpensive way to have fun and spend time winding down with your family. Almost all of our leases and claims allow 14 days camping on them. And as these personnel are transferred around they can pan anywhere in the world.
