Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the Wet Rock claim and Wandering Star claim can be reached without a 4wheel drive vehicle? They are east of the Las Guijas Mountains just north of Arivaca, AZ. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Couldn't tell you, but here is a bit of entertainment.

You ought to watch the "Paint Your Wagon" movie sometime if you never have, Lee Harvey and Clint Eastwood as partners.

The movie is about two partners and their hunt for gold, and how they found it right underneath the town they built.

When I talk about my partner it does not mean I am gay, like the term means on the West and East coast. Out here your partner is a person you trust you life with and they do in return. You work together, you share expenses, and you share the profits equally. I have a very happy wife that cooks for us and tends camp while we work the claims. He has his place to sleep and me and my wife has ours, but none the less my mining partner is my partner, and we look out for one another, find new claims together, and bust our ass together for an equal share of the gold we find.

Mining is hard work, so when we make a decision on working some place the decision is made equally.

I agree with what you are saying .But it was just a little confusing as it was put forward .Yes when in Arizona I have such a partner .as in CA as I am now .We look out for each other. That is what partners do for each other .If one finds some where that is producing he will inform the other as we do .
