    New to the gpaa. Would anyone be interested in trying out the Sandusky river in the Creatine Ohio area?

    It is near the Mansfield area. I have been going to the claim near Butler, but I want to try this area.

    Hi Dale,

                As far as I know the GPAA or the LDMA have nothing in that area. Do you have a spot in mind and is it private property, pay to dig, state or Fed owned. I live in the Toledo area. Getting ready for a trip to the LDMA's Loud Mine claim in Georgia in Sept. Let me know about and when you want to go, maybe we can get out and find some color.

    Yes there this would be private property. I know a few people that live in the area of the start of the Sandusky River. Or if you want we can just hit the Swank claim.

    Hi Dale,

                What would be the best for you? Week day or weekend and do you have any day in mind? The swank claim is fine with me. Have you tried the Swank East?

    Hi Dale, Sorry about my late response. Had family in for the weekend and was unable to get away to do any prospecting. I will be going south and will be back about the middle of Oct. If you want around that time we can meet at the Swank Clam.

    I'm looking for a partner for panning and detecting I live in Toledo, Ohio. I'm a greenhorn at both this is my first year metal detecting and gold panning. But I'm a good worker and want to learn.

    when the weather brakes let me know. the swank claim is a good place to find gold. its fine gold but its there.
