    Jesse,

    My advice would be to look for a club to join.  There are some in the  west side of Washington.  Not so many on the  east side where I'm at.  The GPAA clubs are one place to start, but there are others out there that aren't GPAA.  Non-GPAA clubs are closer to me and they have more claims to explore for me.
