My name is Jim Kochevar.  This is my second attempt at sending you a reply, the first disappeared some how??  Anyway, I seen you post and thought I would reply.  I would be interested in belonging to a chapter it one was started in this area.  But, not sure how much help I would be starting one at this time.  In any case, we could meet up and discuss it.  I live in a rural area about 50 miles north of Mt. Iron and get to Virginia regularly.  I haven't done much prospecting, but I do metal detecting often.  Do you metal detect??  Let me know what your think.

I am in Duluth and have found placer locally although in very minute amounts. I also metal detect and love it! I am always looking to get out especially now before I have a total hip replacement at the end of this month. Sucks getting old........Sometimes! ;-)
