So new member. I'm looking at 2 claims, Brushy Creek Aquamarine Mine and Crabtree Emerald Mine. Both in Mitchell County, NC.  There is absolutely no more information about them. I have no problem doing some legwork, but could someone point me in the direction of how I would go about finding out the location and rules?

Just had a look in the online guide for both, nothing has been posted up yet. Don't have the paper guide at hand, so don't know if listed there or not.

Probably best thing to do is call the office and see if you can get contact info from them, if you can't find a listing for them in a phone directory.

    Good luck in the search.

    Google knows all
If it's on the interweb it's gotta be true...
Kinda sounds like a pay to play place and not a claim, I have no intel, this is just a WAG

They are both Pay to Dig places. You will also see Thermal City Mine and Lucky Strike in McDowell county near the Vein Mtn. LDMA camp in there. They are pay to dig Gold mines. We have a commitment for more money for leases in the east. If you know of any land out there let your State Director or Kevin Hoagland know.

Thanks for the replies. I also looked in the hard copy of the guide and not much more there. Will probably go ahead and try them out and see if they are decent.
