Depending on where you are look up local or semi local suppliers first, shipping from longer distance may cost more than the discount they give on the dredge itself. I am more of a build it myself type as I have built a 2 1/2 inch and 2 four inch dredges in the past year and a half and it has cost me way less. so maybe look into that route if you have the time and patience to build your own. my 2 1/2 inch cost me about $800 in total and each of my 4 inch cost me around $1000. so its way cheaper to build than buy but it all depends on you. I got advise on my builds from some pretty seasoned veteran dredgers and once I got each finished had them look them over and got thumbs up on all with a few small recommendations on tweaks. my last build they thought was awesome and after they saw it run were very impressed with it. just some thoughts to throw out to you. good luck on your decision.
