John-  Grew up in the Susanville/Quincy area.  Would suggest Indian Creek along Hwy 89.  Also might try any streams flowing north out of the Antelope Res. area out toward Janesville.  Check to see about active claims before doing any prospecting.

Good chance there might be something coming down in the Janeville area from up above since there are GPAA claims up above Taylorsville and that area has a rich mineral history.

Indian Creek and Spanish Creek will have gold as they drain that area and the area down around Quincy and the Bucks Lake area (more claims in that area).

I forgot the area past Susansville
Going from Reno get off the highway and head West and once you pass Susansville the mountain starts going down on the left hand side going West
there in a RV park when the road levels out coming off of the hills...There is a Stream coming off of the mountain looks like a good place to find gold and ifs only a few feet from the highway and RV park...…...JT

Hey folks. I was raised in susanville. I know the area very well. John Sach, if you're still here and active shoot me a message. I am headed to plumas county tomorrow morning to prospect the prospects. My first time out as a gpaa member. I know the roads I'll be traveling so should be fun. Probably not going to even take my pans. Just want to see. Heading up 70 from hallaluia junction and looping down to 89 to Taylorsville then over to Westwood and then 36 home.
