Hello all my name is Kyle I've been prospecting on a very limited scale for the last 20 years by that I mean like 4 or 5 times over that time period. Mainly in Merced California and Happy Camp California area. And I am now in the bootheel of New Mexico and starting to look around for places to do a little prospecting down here or over in AZ it is just a few miles from where i am at i am Just looking for something to do on the weekend been doing a lot of rockhounding down this way and was cleaning out my closet and found all my prospecting gear and got the fever again. Welcome Kyle. The Round Rock GPAA chapter in Texas occasionally has outings in the Hillsboro, NM area and some of us go individually to GPAA claims in Southern NM. I stopped in Deming last year for the Rockhound State Park. Where do you plan on going?

I plan on going to the Hillsboro, NM area and over to some of the AZ claims the one in AZ i am going to try first is the one near Sierra Vista, PC 2 but anytime you guys get this way let me know i would like to meet up with other members.

Sorry for the slow reply I'm not getting notifications that people are responding to any post that I put out. But no I have not reached out to the El Paso GPAA. I'm a lot closer to Silver City New Mexico or Sierra Vista Arizona but I hear El Paso has I'm pretty good chapter
