Dont spend alot on gear until you figure out the type of mining you plan on
gotta have the basics, pans, sheaves, sluice box, hand tools, buckets, some sort of clean up device
Poop tubes are cheap and easy to make, then a pump and some hoses
Set up a recirulating tub.
I do all my clean up at home, comfy cozy

Get busy, lot of gold in rings, not to mention the diamonds or three
