    Mid Valley Prospectors is holding an outing on May 18th on the Quartzville Group in Oregon.

    This will be a quick cleanup of the three claims to get them ready for the season, along with plenty of time to look for the good stuff.

    Will meet at 10AM at Miner's Meadow group site. This is at the 24 mile marker on Quartzville Rd, just past Yellowbottom Recreation area. Paved road all the way...all claims accessible in 2wd.

    Just look for a camo Cherokee.

    Had 4 people show up. Did a quick sweep of the claims and all were clean, only problem was the location notice on one had been cut down (off a 1/8" steel cable) and the tube broken up. Will be replaced this week. Water level is great for this time of year, not too high. Ready for the season.

    We spent around 4 hours gathering some material to take home and process at a later date. Partners daughter has already panned some out and has some sucess.
