I am sorry I have not posted in a long time but I have kept in touch with a few members. I want to let you know the conditions of Colorado are not good at all for even rafters, they are dying weekly, and the main melt hasn't even really begun yet.

I was at two claims that we would normally work this time of year just 4 weeks ago and the water was so high, fast, and full of debris it was impossible to even approach. Three weeks ago I was in Telluride and saw that the head of the San Miguel River was still frozen over, with massive amounts of snow yet to thaw.

I am heading down on Friday with the BLM over a dispute over a claim and a private property owner, I am having them join me to the debts of hell so they can see what we face, I hope I don't have to carry them out.

Talking to the Oklahoma State Director the other night I know my next time through I will find the 3rd flake of gold since they claim to have only found 2.

You all know how to reach me, if planning a trip to Colorado this year just hold up, its a rough year for us prospectors.

The news this morning said seven people have died in the rivers this year. I was at a creek last weekend and it was way to high. Never even got out of the truck. Stay safe and stay away.

It has been rough in Ohio too. We have had high waters for roughly three to four weeks depending on where you went. But two weeks ago was the first time I have been out this year........
