Amount of water wjth an angusmackirk sidekick sluice

    I have an angusmackirk side kick sluice and using an 1100 g p h pump . It seems like alot of water going through it. Does anyone else have one . Thank you

    I can't comment on the Angus Mack, but a rule of thumb I learned for a sluice is water flowing at about twice the riffle height and the sands should be dancing under the rifles. It is more of a art than a science.

    Thanj you i have a cutoff valve on the watet line .i can adjust the angle and water flow do try to get it right
