I’m setting up a recirculating sluice box in a 30 gallon tote my question to yall is how much jet dry or soap will I need to add and can someone tell me the better of the 2 between jet dry and soap?

Never used soap, but a quick squirt of jet dry will be enough. If it starts to suds, its too much. Had a 45 gallon system I recirculated with and that's what we used. We had a 40 gallon planter which overflowed into a 25 gallon planter that we put about 40 gallons total of water in.

Soap and Jet Dry will accomplish the same thing. Jet Dry will not leave as slick of a residue on the materials and on the sluice mat but it all depends on the amount of suds youre willing to put up with. id stick with the Jet Dry personally. One decent squirt outta do ya. test your tailings, if you have stuff floating out of the box add a few more drops.

Bobby,
Stick with Jet Dry. If you use dish soap it may contain citrus oils and you don't want that.
