I would love to do some prospecting here in Arizona. I am retired, still in decent shape. I'm hoping there is someone or some group that could use an extra hand working some dirt. i have a couple detectors and some misc. tools. i would be available for overnight or multi-night trips. i am located in the west mesa area near alma school and the us60. give me a call or shoot me a text at 480-215-3425.

Ron,
I would recommend joining a local chapter. They can help you out. They also do outings to the GPAA claims.

Ron,
There are many chapters of GPAA all over the US, but I would say in AZ there is a group, many of the members are also Vets called Roadrunner's club. They are very active miners going all over the state. Here is their link, https://www.roadrunnergold.com

Gold Basin to the NW of the state. Dolen Springs will get ya close. Been there a few times. Gpaa has claims here. Still nuggets being found. I was want to head there this weekend, but the heat it hitting scorch mode monday! Just follow the helicopters. Refuel station close to the claims. Gets noisey here at times.
