Very cool finds. Things that make you go hummm

I did my yard a while back.. only found trash, now there is an old slave house and quarters and the property my neighbor owns, trying to get permission to detect and dig around the old buildings.

Chain and paddle wheeler maybe a pocket watch fob??

 

   That is a 3 ct ruby in gold mount. The ax head in center is 200 years old. The oil can tags date to the '20s  It was a good 4 hours.    Frank...-

      PS: This is the picture I show to the neighbors to gain access for detecting on a 50/50 basis. By the way there eyes light up, I think it introduces GREED. lol   

 

   

 This is a better view of the blacksmith made ax head that I have conserved and mounted. As you can see it had a fault that caused a piece to break off. It was probably left when they cleared the lot 200 years ago, the age of the house.
