The GPAA have 5-6 claims in NM but unfortunately you have to drive about 2 hours from Albuquerque to get there.  We have a lot of history through out the state, and quit a bit of activity occurred around Albuquerque.   There are also two NM gold clubs in Albuquerque that have about 10 claims each with half of them near Golden NM (about 1/2 hour drive from Edgewood).   

There is the Gold Prospectors Association of NM which meets every 3^rd  Thursday of the month at the Los Griegos community center near 12^th and Candelaria NW.  

And

There is the NM Gold Miners Association which meets every 3^rd Tuesday of the month at 1500 Walter SE (old APS school)
