    Fellow gold hounds, 

    I am taking a trip to Los Banos CA with my family and would like to take a day to sluice and pan in the area.  Does anyone have suggestions with all the rain etc what would be a good day trip in or around Mariposa County?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I know no one responded to my post, but Ill give my feedback for the area. Saddly i was only able to go out for about an hour but found a couple of small flakes in the Bagby recreational area. Just for anyone else who is looking for a spot.

    Hi Benj,

    What is the biggest town around there...is that northern CA..? Was that on a GPAA claim area or something else?
