    Good morning,
We have a Keene A52 converted into a high banker with a Keene hopper, our pump is an Honda GX120 with a Keene pump. Would it be a good idea to add a boot or flap (very light rubber) at the discharge or base of the hopper to assist with smoothing the water flow?
    Thank you for your time,
    Dan

    Dan,
I have used Plumbers Rubber in the past with good success but it is not always needed. You want to achieve the point of Fluid Dynamics in your box meaning 1foot per second of material moving through your box. Here is a link to a Podcast on the subject. do what you need to assure FD in your box and you are good to go. https://onthegold.buzzsprout.com/615199/1977019-5in5-friday-fluid-dynamics-with-kevin-bell
