Hello Kevin
I decided to go check out Lucky Linda again claim today from the north entrance going past the so called chicken coop. I drove the half mile south and found that the gate Has been permanently removed and fence post and bobwire is in its place blocking access. This appears to have just been done in the last day or two evident of tire tracks and foot prints. Just wanted to give a heads up and something that you may be interested in investigating.

Jim,
I am working to find out who and how the ingress was closed. I have a feeling I know the Who and am working with BLM to find out the why. I do not expect it to last long but I have to have the final ruling from BLM to open the wire.

Kevin, my wife and I are heading to Arizona in 2 days. We wanted to try Lucky Linda Again. We have a 2wd Chevy PU. From what I read the only 2wd entrance is in the north and is now fenced off. Have we got an answer on this? Thank you for any and all information.

Not at this time. My expectation is that it will take some time on the BLM part to review before getting back to me. They have been great on these issue in the past but it always takes some time.

I guess I will answer my own question, yes, I can see that this claim is gone, not sure why and now don't care...
