Thanks for the info Jim.  I was referring to the private club as  noted on their about page  members could use highbankers and dredges.  Never heard of a dredge that didn't draw from the creek it was in, elec or gas.  Their members kick in $100 the first year to cover a reclamation bond of $1500 collectively so I was just wondering if they were dredging with electrics or what.  That's why I was curious which rules they did that under.

That is why I was noting they required $100 of members (not guests) the 1st year to pay into their reclamation bond of $1500 which covered them all presumably.  Do they get a special privilege being a club or is the Forest Service much more lenient than the SD DNR or whatever they call them?

As for water on the Husker claim, where can water be obtained or purchased nearby?  Don't recall how far it is to Sturgis or the closest ranch.  Perhaps there are public campgrounds near Sturgis with water.
