Hello all, Been a member of GPAA for a while but never had much time to use my membership. I recently retired and am looking for people to meet up with for prospecting adventures / Day trips. I've always felt it safer with two or more people. My wife isn't interested. I'm interested in hitting claims as well as looking for new territory to explore and maybe find something to claim. More than willing to split a claim with a fellow prospector or two. Would make filing fees less harsh. Looking forward to; Metal Detecting Panning & Sluicing Crevicing Jeff

Howdy Jeff: I too am looking for a prospecting partner here in Southern California. I'm getting a new knee put-in in a couple weeks, but should be ready to go by the beginning of March. Send me an email at californiadesignandbuild@yahoo.com if interested. Henry

Hello, Jeff my name is Ernie, new member here was wondering if you're still in the hobby of prospecting? I'm also looking if so, in the Kern County area and other places I'm in my 60s but fully capable of hiking long distance.

Earnie- there’s a Mad Mining puffer for sale here: https://www.goldprospectors.org/Forum/aft/9433 If it’s a newer one, it may be the Thompson replica. Good machine with great recovery if you can find the original, else the Mad mining one may be good also. Since you mentioned earlier that you can hike- the smaller puffer like a Thompson is great for packing in also. Good luck
