How to find out when local chapters have outings.

    Joined the GPAA about two months ago and was wondering when the local chapters were having outings. I live near Phoenix and have tried to contact the presidents but with no success. Would really like to meet up with some local members here to help get me started in finding some gold in the desert. I have been trying now for about a year and have had no luck at all. And would really like to find someone to prospect with. Hope someone can help me out and better yet join me in one of my trips out looking for gold.

    If the chapters contact person is not replying, maybe call the office and let them know the chapters involved, and see if they can get some action out of them. Main office doesn't really want PO'ed members.......in most cases.

    Might try Facebook, seems most have some kind of presence there, and some have a website.
