    Greenhorn here...

I've noticed on the properties pages other GPAA members giving tips to remember to bring your membership card and permit. Great tip, however how do I obtain obtain or show a property owner that I am a member and how do I obtain a permit. I understand these may seem to be simple and fundamental to experienced GPAA members but to be honest... I cannot find this information anywhere on the site and do not want to drive from Virginia to Ohio only to be turned away.... Thank you in advance for assistance in this matter :-)

If you paid your membership they should have sent you a GPAA member card and prospecting permit. Yellow looking cards. A lot of the claims are owned by the GPAA and don’t have a manager on site. I’ve been to three and haven’t seen a soul. Granted I’m in California.

I just bought Lifetime memberships to both GPAA and LDMA but only received my cards. Nothing about permits. Maybe that will come later with a packet????? Unsure.

    Welcome Joseph,

One of the two cards is your "permit"
