    I've recently upgraded my highbanker to a much larger size, and with that bought a new Honda keen 180 pump. My port supplying water to the dredge is 2in.
    I'm wanting to dredge with this but I am not sure why there are 2 different size options for the 3in power jet. They offer it with a 1.5in supply port as well as a 2in port, but I'm not exactly sure why, or what difference in performance this change makes?
    Any experienced information on this would be great.

    Welcome Chris,

    What size is the 180 output ?
    I would suggest going with that just to keep things simple
    We had set ours up with quick connect fittings. No need for screw drivers and hose clamps
    Nothing worse than cutting yourself open at this point
