What is everyone using to stay within your claim boundaries.

what I have done is i use the Mining guide to get all the GPS number for the claims i want to go to- i punch those into Google maps and mark them as favorites places - then i use that to navigate there but while on the claim i leave the app open on my phone in my pocket and it will always show you as an icon in relation to the boundaries of the claim. if I find a great spot i mark it and drop a pin and save it so i can return next trip - i bought a Garmin GPS but it was too small to see the screen well and i found my android phone is all i need - take a spare battery so you can keep charged as the map app will draw down your battery while running so be prepared- heavy pans!!!! and Good luck!

I do the same import corners, but use the OnXHunt app instead of google. Luckily in Alaska there is a layer that shows a lot of claim boundaries, but it doesn’t for most states.

I have a tough time with this.... but i was able to make a cool map .... GoogleEarth and the AZGS (AZ) maps all in one...if it wasnt a secret it would be quite marketable lol

Are the corner coordinates for the claims only in the mining guide? are the corners online? I'm completely new to this and thinking of heading out to the SB Able claim to orient myself a bit and pick up some old rifle shells. I know you can get notice of location at the county recorder, but I'm not clear on where that is for this claim. Thanks
